Our Fellows are RPCV leaders in transition who can commit to at least three months of half- to full-time (minimum 24 hours per week) engagement with NPCA. Fellows have the opportunity to work remotely, subject to negotiation and responsibilities. Positions are unpaid. You will have direct access to a vast network of professionals and partner organizations while gaining valuable professional leadership experience.
Fellows provide vital support and leadership to the NPCA in a variety of areas, including:
- Communications and marketing
- Events and conferences
- Fundraising and grantmaking
- Program development
- Technology and innovation
- Executive management

Special Assistant to Executive Leadership
An exciting opportunity to be involved in the core activities of the NPCA as a vital member of the support staff. Lead special projects, serve as liaison between executive leadership and key stakeholders such as the Peace Corps, affiliate groups, and strategic partners; provide administrative/logistical assistance to the NPCA team and promote the values of the Peace Corps community.
A successful fellow will be well organized to handle multiple tasks, attentive to detail and an articulate communicator. S/he will be highly motivated, resourceful and creative, thriving on the opportunity to contribute to the Peace Corps community. The fellow will be proactive – presenting new ideas, proposing solutions and promoting innovation.
Interest and/or experience in community development, organizational management, international affairs, peace building and other similar areas. Six month commitment preferred.
International Programs Fellow
Help conceptualize, design, build and implement programs and initiatives for the Peace Corps community. In this position, you will have the opportunity to provide your leadership and expertise on the launch, implementation and scaling up of key initiatives such as Employers of National Service, Next Step Travel and Cultural Agility Leadership Lab (CALL).
The ideal candidate for this position is strategic and innovative, with the ability to identify and pursue programmatic opportunities. S/he is adept at program management, market assessment and scaling up.
Three to six month commitment preferred.
Are you passionate about the Peace Corps community and grassroots organizing? Interested in working closely to increase the impact of groups nationwide and worldwide? Help enhance the network of affiliate groups, coordinate with key leadership and organize group news and outreach.
This fellow will work closely with the Vice President, Affiliate Group Network Coordinator, NPCA Board of Directors Advisory Committees and staff. They will provide leadership on coordinating affiliate group cultivation and renewals. They will lead webinars, meet with groups and be responsible for all group outreach. In the Spring and Summer, they will help prepare for the Affiliate Group Network Annual Meeting (AGNAM) which convenes in conjunction with the annual conference.
The ideal candidate for this position is responsive, attentive to detail, proactive in grassroots outreach and collaboration and friendly in manner.
Three to six month commitment preferred.
